OBITUARY
John was a member of the Legion of Frontiersmen for 44 years, joining in 1960. He was a loyal and conscientious member always making himself available to help whenever required until taking sick and having to move into Parer Court Rest Home. He still retained a keen interest in in the Legion. During his time as a member he was OC with the rank of Lieutenant and also Troop Sergeant. John received his LSEM in 1973, Silver Fern in 1985, Pioneer Axe in 1989, 90 year medal in 1994, Centennial medal in 2004 and was awarded Life Membership for forty years service in 2000. He will be sadly missed by ‘F’ Troop members. God Guard Thee, John
